Wild Turkey

Building a platform around bold authenticity.

Like many heritage brands, Wild Turkey faced a challenge. Younger consumers couldn't say what made it different from every other bourbon on the shelf.

So we evolved Wild Turkey from a bourbon brand into a broader cultural platform built around "Trust Your Spirit." By connecting the Russell family craft with artists and creators who shared the same conviction, we built a system that reached beyond traditional advertising. The work spanned integrated campaigns, experiential, music partnerships, influencer programs, content, and retail, all reflecting the values at the heart of the brand to build affinity with a new generation.

Its clearest expression was "101 Bold Nights," originated to give back to a music industry the pandemic had hit hard, that grew into a national tour. The series played Charlotte, DC, Richmond, New Orleans, Austin, Raleigh, Louisville, Dallas, and San Diego, from festival grounds with a custom Trust Your Spirit tent to stadiums and live venues. The program ran a sweepstakes with iHeartRadio, Spotify playlists, a steady social presence, hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to music charities, and a mentorship program for emerging musicians.
